Jack A. Stile, 92, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 while at the Communities of Indian Haven.

The son of Samuel Peter and Susan Elizabeth (Price) Stile, he was born July 14, 1924 in Indiana. 

Jack was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.  He had been employed by McCreary Tire and Rubber Company for 37 years and played on their bowling and horseshoe team.  Jack coached little league for the Kiwanis where they went undefeated for many years.  Jack also enjoyed playing softball, hunting, fishing and gardening.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. 

Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann (McKee) Stile, Indiana; children, John (Isabel) Stile, Indiana, Joyce (Robert) Walker, Jr., Homer City, Joann (Scott) Murdick, Marion Center, and Jenifer (Gregory) Orr, Indiana; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding Jack in death were his parents; brothers, Peter, Samuel, Jess, Leroy, Robert, and Paul; sisters, Mable Pakela, Mary Cain, Annie Hill, Ruth McKee, Elsie Cain, Ella Huston, and Hazel Bathurst.

Friends will be received on Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. John Sykes, officiating.

Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery will be private.
