Irvin Lewis Heilbrun, 64, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at his residence.

The son of Amos Otto and Kathryn Isabelle (McKinney) Heilbrun, he was born September 1, 1951 in Indiana.

Irvin was a retired fuel truck driver and had been employed by various fuel companies over the years. His interests included hunting and caring for his yard. He loved children and enjoyed sled riding and playing baseball with them

Surviving is his stepson Paul (Barbara) Venci; siblings, Floyd (Ethel) Heilbrun, Louise (Jim) Seger, Jim (Joan) Heilbrun, Edith (Vince) Salsgiver, Amos (Judith) Heilbrun, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Irvin in death were his parents; wife, Joyce, and a sister, Karol Ann Smith.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from noon until 2 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Thomas Spiker, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Grove Chapel Cemetery where military rites will be performed by VFW Post 1989.
