Helen Elizabeth “Betty” Helman, 83, Indiana, died Monday, October 2, 2017, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Horace and Helen (Ray) Bence, she was born December 2, 1933, in Indiana.

Betty was an Indiana High School graduate and member of the New Hope church. She had been employed by FMC for 44 years. Betty will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Surviving are her sons, Dave Helman, Indiana, and Bill (Blanche) Helman, Indiana; grandchildren, Curt (Dana) Evans, Blufton S.C., Judy Evans, California, MD, Megan and Jarrod Clark, Pittsburgh; great grandchildren, Cullan, Nathan and Logan Evans, and John and Eleanor Clark.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received on Friday from noon until 2 pm. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Paul Price, officiating.

Interment in the Oakland Cemetery will be private.
