Ernest Frank Aimino, Sr., 91, passed away Monday, November 06, 2017 while at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility.

The son of Frank and Mary (Crucis) Aimino, he was born August 19, 1926 in Coy Junction, PA.

Ernest was employed by R&P Coal Company for over 40 years and was a member of the UMWA Local 488.  Ernest was a co-owner of four Sunoco Service Centers in Indiana.

Surviving are his children, Dr. Victoria Rich and husband, Dr. Alex Rich, Lutz, FL, Linda Smith and husband, Gary, Indiana; Brenda Moody and husband, Aleck, The Villages, FL; Ernest F. Aimino Jr., Indiana; Matthew Aimino and wife, Kimberly, Indiana; and Dr. Barbara Bonar and husband, Edward, Dana Point, CA; four granddaughters and four grandsons; two great-granddaughters; a sister, Geneva Yankuskie, Home; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 70 years, Lillian; granddaughter, Caitlin Bonar; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Aimino; and a son-in-law, Robert Foringer.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
