I wish to express my sentiments to the family along with what Mary Lou has mentioned to you. I could not express any better than she our feelings toward your parents and am so pleased that we had the opportunity to make their acquaintance. Even in their final hours they were such an inspiration to us. It will not be the same visiting at Beacon Ridge now that they are both gone but will remember them and the two precious influences they were in our lives. Dear Family, Although we have never met, except for one of the girls one day, I wanted to share with you all, how much we enjoyed your parents at Beacon Ridge. My friend, Dora and I visited with them for a few years, about every few weeks, we would stop by. First Lil, before Ernest was a resident...and some days he would come when we were with Lil and we became fast friends. We loved them. And will miss them. We knew, last Wednesday afternoon, that we would not see him again and we both felt very sad when we left. They added more joy to us than we did them. Ernest was a true gentleman, even last Wednesday, he said..."Thank you for coming". We would like to attend the Memorial Service if we are available. Although we don't really know any of you...we do KNOW a lot about each of you. May God give you comfort during this special time. I'm better for having known them. Mary Lou McKinney
