Carolyn Polito, 65, Shelocta, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Ralph and Mary (Greenan) Corey, she was born January 14, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Carolyn was a member of the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her interests included reading, quilting, and spending time with others. The joy of her life was her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband William Polito, Shelocta, children, Jeremy T. (Carmela) Polito, Pittsburgh, Nicholas A. (Jamie) Polito, Warren, PA, Sarah B. (Andrew) Polito-Kirk, Pittsburgh, and Leah M. (Shaun) Polito-Jakosh, Homer City; grandchildren, Gioia Polito, Pittsburgh,  Brock and Julianna Polito, both of Warren, Noah and Kira Jakosh, Homer City; and a brother, Donald G. Corey, South Carolina.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ralph and Robert.

A Memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, June 25, 3:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 450 East Pike Rd., Indiana, PA.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
