Pokey was my grandma...but she was so much more. She and I would write poems togetber so this is your poem Pokey.
An Angel On Borrow.....By Me
You always made a room look brighter
Even when dark you made things lighter.
All the things we did are etched in stone in my heart
Just as you said "I was yours from the start ".
We would do things together side by side
That can't change just because you died.
You were the kindness gentle soul I ever knew
And so many said that is exactly true.
When heartaches came you were there to wipe them away
I knew always that you were on lend an Angel on borrow and couldn't forever stay.
Pokey , the first cake I ever made was an angel for you.
I loved you then. I love you now, and one day will see you too.
My baby you are gently holding, kiss him ,hug him and tell him all about me.
Pokey you will forever be in our hearts and there you will be.
I love you my Pokey !
