Anna Yamrick, 86, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2017 while at St. Andrew’s Village.

Anna, who was the daughter of John and Catherine (Fetsick) Melnyk was born on December 2, 1930 in Colver, PA.

Anna lived for her family.  She loved to attend her grandchildren’s sporting events and in her spare time liked to watch the Young and the Restless and tennis, and singing Christmas carols with her family.  Friends will remember Anna as a generous, caring individual who was amazingly kind.                              

Surviving are her children, Joseph (Christine) Yamrick, Meadville, Bradley (Chantelle) Yamrick, Irwin, and Christina Petro, Indiana; and grandchildren, TJ Petro, Nathan Petro, Adam Yamrick, and Sarah Yamrick; sisters, Helen Kolasa, Irene Leahey and her husband, the Honorable Joseph Leahey, Ebensburg, and Mary Catherine (Robert) Swatsworth, Seward; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Anna in death were her parents; husband, Joseph George Yamrick; brother, Harry; and an infant brother and sister.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church with Father Tom Federline as celebrant.

Entombment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery Mausoleum.
